Impetigo usually begins as a small cluster of blisters which break out into bright red spots and blister. Impetigo mainly appears on the face, but can develop in exposed areas such as the legs or arms.
The most common cause of impetigo is bacteria called Staphylococcus aureus. Another bacteria source is group A streptococcus. These bacteria can be found in many environments, and the most common way to get an infection is by contact with someone who already has one.
Children aged 2-5 are the most likely to get impetigo, and common methods of infection include sharing clothes with an infected friends, playing contact sports, poor hygiene habits such as not washing hands, and using infected bedding, towels or clothes. You are more likely to catch impetigo if you have other skin problems such as eczema, lice, insect bits or fungal infections. The bacteria can more easily enter the skin through cracks caused by these conditions.
The most popular places of impetigo infections include Oceania, Australia, and New Zealand. Impetigo tends to be seasonal and the bacteria responsible thrive in warm and wet conditions. For that same reason, the disease is most common in hot and humid climates during summer and fall seasons

I never review Apps, but this has been the quickest and most convenient doctor experience(s) I’ve ever had. It cost me no more than what I would have paid to visit an office. I’ve had two appointments and one was done in the comfort of my own living room and the second on my break at work. As a full time worker, full time student, and full time mom, the convenience cannot be beat. I met with Dr. Saremi who is very personable and kind. He immediately resolved my reasons for calling during both appointments. He was competent and trustworthy and valued my time. Can’t recommend this enough.
